Welcome to Woodland Cree First Nation’s new Website. The Woodland Cree First Nation is a flourishing First Nation community located in northern Alberta.¬† There is a significant amount of growth and economic activity occurring on Woodland Cree Traditional Land that is creating an abundance of economic opportunities.

The people of Woodland Cree as well as their Chief and Council invite you to learn more about our community and the opportunities that exist for partnerships that are mutually beneficial.

The Woodland Cree First Nation is situated roughly 85 kilometers northeast of the Town Peace River Alberta along Highway #986. The Woodland Cree First Nation has a population of roughly 1,000 people of which 700 live on the Reserve.
